Other
services
Literally speaking, the variety of FRIED-SPED’s services includes process-accelerating company departments that ensure one thing above all: Logistical processes must flow without delay so that goods and commodities reach their destination quickly, directly and reliably. To achieve this, we need to be able to control standardised mechanisms internally and independently – without having to resort to external support.
Our
Vehicle fleet
The destinations of our customers' numerous and diverse goods and loads are spread all over the globe. After all, we deliver around 6,000 tonnes of goods around the world every day – from general cargo, partial and full loads to large-volume and heavy haulage.
Our own trucks, including drivers, steer each load to the appropriate recipients, be it to construction sites, directly to production halls, to railway stations or to seaports and airports, from where the goods are delivered throughout Europe and overseas.
Variety on the road – 300 vehicles for every solution.
Company-owned
sidings
Our unique selling point is our rail transshipment with its own siding to public rail transport. With consideration for the environment and resources, we place a great emphasis on transporting as much as possible by rail.
We have our own siding at the FRIED-SPED headquarters in Ummendorf.
Further sidings exist at the followingsites:
- Bischofshofen/Austria
- Plovdiv/Bulgaria
With these connections to national and Europe-wide rail transport, we expand the "scope" of our customers. A trend-setting argument in favour of FRIED-SPED.

Integrated
customs department
We cross borders. Our customs department with five permanent employees is "up to speed". They are familiar with all the hurdles and pitfalls and from the start, they are involved in the initial planning phase in order to coordinate the third-country project on target – across countries and borders, always in coordination with our partners at the respective destination.
Own
Workshop
Our standard and special fleet of vehicles is in the best hands. This is where so much knowledge, experience and precision come together in one place to keep our vehicles in running condition at all times. Just as commercial vehicle technology is constantly evolving, our commercial vehicle mechatronics technicians are always up to date with the latest developments. Further training is the "be-all and end-all" for mobility, safety and maintaining the value of our fleet.

Own
transport permits
Large-volume and heavy transports require special official permits. FRIED-SPED now submits up to 3,500 new applications per year. This requires knowledgeable expertise. Our specialists in the in-house transport permit department take care of formulating country-specific applications, either themselves or through external partners. In order to be able to act and react quickly and flexibly, we rely on an established network of permanent and reliable transport escorts and maintain individual permanent permits for our vehicles.
In addition, we maintain an appreciative and trustworthy working relationship with the relevant authorities: The professional exchange on an equal footing minimises the time spent on our side in the preparation of applications and on the part of officials, in their examination – this really saves time.
